Apparently he has an older brother who's also in the 2025 recruiting class. I have a hard time believing he'll do anything as a true freshman, but it gets him NIL money a year earlier and if he pans out he's one year closer to an NFL paycheck.
I wonder if reclassifying will become more common now that NIL paydays are out there?

his dad was the USC starting rb in the mid 90s on those Keyshawn Johnson teams. May just be he and his brother both want to go to dad’s school together asap.
