Huard

JugheadHuard is much better now than when he first started. Used to drive me up the wall to listen to him. Now it’s tolerable.

And it is a fucking jughead. I remember being at a Mariners game in the early 2000’s by third base and Jughead was a few rows ahead of me and the wife. Almost every foul ball made a beeline for that fuckers head. It’s like it had cosmic gravity attraction it was so big. It covered all of right field from my seat.

Made me think they needed to build him a special jughead helmet.
 
I feel like he overcompensates trying to not be a UW homer at times. He’s not great, but he’s way better than a lot of fucktards out there
 
Brock Huard memory: at the movies in Puyallup. Before it starts Huard is there with some local sports writer (Q13 guy). I’m four rows up from him. Some old fuzz-nuts is walking up the steps holding a tray of popcorn and cokes. He nears Huard and is looking at him, trips and dumps the whole thing. He stares daggers at Brock and says, “Ya happy now?” I still have no clue what was going on.

Never liked Huard. He gets that little sing-songy thing going when he talks. It’s like fingernails on a chalkboard.
 
I feel like there’s an arc with most commentators. They start out a little rough and then improve enough to start getting better games. After they do enough games, the constant exposure begins to grate and the like turns to dislikes and continues until it becomes hatred.
 
His cadence has gotten to be too much. He was stroking Utah way too hard to start the game.

He has become too over to the top. But he did settle in the second half

Maybe it’s because they were playing like they had 11 first team All Americans on offense?
 
I thought he was by far the best broadcaster we've had all year. Besides not being an obnoxious homer, I can't think of a single thing any Husky fan could criticize him for.
