Finally. I'd expect the coaches to be having some frank conversations. . I think the portal opened on Saturday and there are only a few more spring practices.
 
Was likely beat out by the white D2 transfer from South Dakota.

I saw Smalls live in the state semi-final against Woodinville and noted his deficiencies. Fudgie went ballistic, as I recall.
 
He was good against the run. Doesn’t have the burst to be a great pass rusher. In the old defense he could have filled a Benning Potoae type of role but that doesn’t exist in this defense.
 
Oh well. Wish he would have panned out would have been cool.

In reading the old thread, its not accurate for me to say you went ballistic. Not so. Although you were incredibly rude to the undersized Woodinville running back who torched Kennedy.

That was insane.
Not only he ended up a bust on the field, but our recruiting got worse the following 2 years. The argument was that it was gonna start a new era of local studs always coming to UW... Ridiculous.

In tepid defense of the argument, no one knew Jimmy Lake was going to takeover and decide to stop recruiting at the tim.

Obviously Smalls was overvalued in a number of ways.
