Not funding essential functions is destructive. I was on record as calling the estate tax increase a mistake. It was far more likely to lead to a mass exodus of the modestly wealthy than the so called “millionaires tax”. And, more to my immediate point, I have read more times than I can count here that these taxes NEVER decrease. Well, that isn’t true, obviously.
Businessmen make business decisions. Taxes aren’t irrelevant but they rarely are anyone’s sole reason for relocating.

What if the funding of essential functions isn't working? Spending more money on a corrupt education system isn't what is needed.
