How the PAC12 Recruiting Breaks Down

Looks like almost all the classes are close to done now, here is how they break down in tiers:

USC
UCLA

ASU
Oregon
UW
Stanford

CAL
Arizona
WSU

Utah

Oregon State

Colorado

To be honest, I don't know enough about the needs of other teams to know how well they recruited and whatnot.

But I would probably rank:

USC

UCLA

Oregon (if Adams transfers to UO we would be right up with UCLA)
ASU

Washington
Stanford

Utah
Arizona

Cal

Wazzu

Oregon State
Colorado

Fixed. The difference between ASU and 0regon is about the same as the distance between WSU & Utah; Utah & OSU; and OSU and Colorado.

I actually hope the next three classes for U0 and UW are this close in ranking so we can actually see who is the better coach. Coach Chiclets or Slingblade?

Just Vernon Adams would move Oregon up to UCLA?

What color is the sky in your world duck?

Yup. Answers all our needs, and gives us a legitimate shot at a conference title. Vernon Adams has played and won at the Pac-10 level before - something no prep QB can say. Star ratings are mostly bullshit, so how many bullshit stars is a guy like VA worth? Sure, the preps will be in the system for three or four years... and generally play at a high level for one or two. We have a great prep QB in the class, so that box is checked.

Oregon also got three of the top 6 all-purpose backs in the country. Used to call those guys "athletes," but whatever.

Ducks also signed some great prospects on the lines. The JUCO guys I think will be immediate difference makers at LB, especially Moi.

This is also a typical Oregon top 15-20 class that somehow wins games like a top 5 class. Nothing's changed in that respect, at all.

One reason why Oregon should be rated ahead of ASU - Oregon signed 22 players, ASU signed 21 players including a white RB from Texas. I'm sure @Dennis_DeYoung understands where I'm coming from

FIFY

I cant believe some are in here defending or propping up their recruiting. We are talking about 16 and 17 year old boys right now. Who fucking cares? How many of these children wont play a down of football or set foot on a college campus when all is said and done? Leave this shit to creeps like fatters and griswold. This shit is embarrassing

We feeled tons ov needs by signing a 4* samoan he wil mak a diferance rite away guys trust me my fingers is on teh pulse of these 15 year olds boys are class > ur class

You really are stupid, aren't you? I know you like having your little Basnight-esque conversations with yourself over on the Duck Halfbrains board but you really don't belong here. Please go back to educk/

Vernon Adams has already been addressed here. I'll just say it's cute how you listed the 247sports ranking which has UW 6th, and not the scout.com ranking which has UW 5th.

Face it, usc and ucla were the top tier, and it's splitting hairs among the next 4.

ESPN has UW 6th as well.

I have no idea who ends up more accurate between 24-7 and Scout. I have trouble taking a site called 24-7 seriously, but then I have trouble taking anyone who stalks teenage bois for a living seriously. I do think ranking by average stars is better than ranking by total stars.
