Well, when you are smarter than 90 + % of the fan base . . . . . . . .

You get a $5 million dollar contract and become the winningest active head coach.

So, maybe he does think too much and also is smarter than 90 + % of his critics.

The funny part is the 90 +% have never had their intelligence tested and think they are a shit-ton smarter than they are.

Too much is made of it. It didn’t need to happen but Petersen probably thought he was protecting Eason and to Pete, unnecessary hype.
 
You'd think if we are so concerned about playing young receivers, because they don't have game reps, that when they finally come into the game in garbage time, it'd maybe be a good idea to....I don't know... Give them some reps?

And Sirmon, who didn't get reps in the fall because of the "QB battle," has only attempted 3 passes in garbage time thus far. Not sure why the coaches don't feel the need to let him throw the ball given he is now our backup.
 
It’s hard! Built for life! The obviously inferior salesman always gets a crack at the top accounts in real life because he DESERVES it by showing up with his lunch pale and Kohl’s studio 7 shirt every day.

Not everyone, there were plenty of people here like myself that were telling DDY to calm the fuck down, Eason was going to be the starter and the QB competition was just general Pete fuck-fuck games.

I didn’t even believe Haener had a shot after DDY and Sonics said they wouldn’t be surprised if he started. And I have zero point zero sources.

If Haener did actually have a shot (he didnt) he is one of the dumbest mother fuckers of all time for leaving, sitting for a year behind Eason doesnt hurt him at all.

After Eason goes in the 1st or 2nd round, its basically his job and everyone returns on the offense except for the sucky WRs... He would be the automatic starting QB, one who barely got beat out by a future NFL QB, for a good team with a good offense that just sent a QB to the NFL... Instead he will go and sit at fresno state and then do nothing and never get looked at again.

This has always been why it was stupid of him to leave. He could have been a back up on a team with PAC 12 title aspirations. He’s not guaranteed to start at Fresno State either. It wasn’t a bad situation for him at UW.

Fresno's QB recruit this year is higher rated than Haener coming out of HS. There's a good chance he never plays
