How nervous are you?

RE Texas fans, I have a golfing buddy who is one (as an alum) and who also has a kid going to Penn State now.

Last year I told him how they were going to lose and he was so confident. And I reminded him that I know who his coach is.

When we played a match play match over the summer I won the first 8 holes and closed him out on like hole 12.

He’s going to the game too and we’re on the same flight. He’s still the same level of confidence. I reminded him I know who his coach is.

Update: he is seated next to me on the flight home.

Texas fan... more nervous to play UDubb than I would be if facing Bama or UM. We've got athletes all over but were built better to go toe to toe with Bama/Michigan than we are UW. I have no doubt Texas will be in this game and I think we can win... but I feel confident it's going to be back and forth, down to the final minutes type game

And in this type of game the edge often goes to experience. UW has that more than Texas does (in the places where it matters most).

Turned out to be prescient.
