I dealt with Steve a lot while he was at Washington. First thing to know is he is incredibly bright. He learned a lot at Washington and fought some demons. He's a bright, articulate, charming, engaging guy who is also competitive as hell. He's appeared to put his demons behind him.

You're going to love Sark. It will be interesting to see who he fills his staff with. Knowing the competitive nature of Sark, I'm sure he negotiated a large assistant salary pool. If he gets Tosh Lupoi on staff, watch out. Tosh is one of the best recruiters I've ever dealt with. He's currently with Atlanta.

He's an outstanding recruiter and phenomenal working with QB's. He trusts his guys and has an edge. Guys love playing for him.

Texas didn't hit a home run with Sark. They hit a grand slam.
 
As I’ve said earlier this season, I’ve been in a perpetual state of waiting for the other shoe to drop because of how this team’s M.O. has been “bend but don’t break”.

I told my BIL (a Longhorn)[/b] that I can’t watch this game with him, which made him sad but he understood.

My pod, let me explain just a minute, allow me that and I’ll move on..I’m aggravated with the level of Doog these past weeks. I’ve been warning, many has but many has been discrediting Sark and TX and making fun and Hardy Har Har…iOW, it’s a given, WA has won this one, who we facing, Bama or Meatchicken???

I’ve been on the hill warning, to hilarity from here, THIS ain’t the same TX or SARK team anyone has played. They beat Bama in TTown and lost one game by a second.

Neither is indicative of this team. They are WAY more physical than anyone WA has played. Oregon included.

PAC ain’t that good. AZ beat OU that lost to MSU, last In SECWest.

Meh, semantics, this and that. Point is, PAC is absolutely not how good we thought they were at beginning of season. USC, UTah, Oregon St and even Oregon turned out to suck. Colorado leads the way.

If you or anyone here thumping your chest about winning the PAC 12 conf championship caus of these teams, including beating OR twice, that ain’t good:
