I paid for a couple months around one of the signing days a couple years back just to see if they had any actual inside info, then promptly cancelled once I realized how much they rely on "that's what I'm hearing", "my sources say," "you guys have no idea how close we were to a super-fantasmic #1 class omg omg!" It was all just a bunch of bs to try to keep people in tow since they were lacking in actual content. It's easy to hide behind bullshit statements like that because there's nothing in them to hold them accountable. Trip reports are essentially useless because every kid says they "loved it." With kids just giving political answers and a complete lack of trust in their "inside sources," how can readers trust anything they say when they are wrong more than they are right? Even on the off chance that something is from an inside source, they've completely lost all credibility at this point so I'd be more inclined to just ignore it. If you can't trust any of the inside "scoops" and the recruit interaction doesn't provide any actual info, what value is anyone getting from paying money to them? I just don't get it.

I paid from maybe 2004-2007... and then Fetters pretty much made me quit and I came back for one more year in 2008 but the fact that the agenda is so obvious but actual insights lack and then the whole manipulation of the boreds to cater to bleenor and saandy frustrated me and then there's the whole level of retard other posters that believe every word of recruiting bullshit gossip.

I was there around the same time, maybe 2003-2008. Cancelled at the end of 08 and had half a year remaining...got banned right around then for axing if Fetters would be eating nachos when he was on KJR with Elise.

Sadly, that's the highpoint of my life. Everything's gone downhill since then.

 
Paid off and on in the late 90's/early 00's. Got comped for a couple years until I turned in my mod keys when I joined the Pit. Immortalized as the new guy who was "trying too hard" in Dick's (i.e. Kim) famed Later Guys poast. Banninated from the free birds in the great HHB purge. Wife bought me an annual subscription for Christmas last year. Cancelled after another of Kim's weekly "some of you need to step away from the keyboreds" rant in August. Haven't poasted there since, but still have access until the 12 month subscription is up.

Always had access through a relative and a friend's account. I decided last year to join. I posted for a few months, called to quit and got comped 3 free months. I ended up quitting in February right after I learned of this site. This site has changed a lot since then.
 
I paid but not until they got rid of the free board. I probably paid for about 6 months and then called the 800 number to cancel. They offered me two free months so I gave in like a wus.

Back in 2009 and 2010, it was actually okay. I didn't go there everyday but probably two or three times a week on average. Then they started to ban me for the most ticky tack stuff about 2 years ago, while letting someof the Duck trash slide. I shared my account for a while (take that assholes!) but now I'm going to cancel again as I barely go there and can findrecruiting information elsewhere.

I paid for 1 month, then realized what a fucking waste it was. It's not the money that's the issue, it's my fucking time. There wasn't a single worthwhile read in that entire month.

Then I ran into that same "you have to call in to cancel" bullshit that Chuck did. In hindsight, I almost feel sorry for the poor asshole who tried to offer me a free month to keep me subscribed, because I almost certainly ruined his day.

Getting that fucker to hang up on me was the high point of my doogman subscription.

Like many, I stopped paying around 08/09. Dark times for football and Dawgman was clearly well on its way to becoming the People's Republic of Doogman.
 
I only paid for a couple of months way back in the Rick days... quit the pay board because I could tell even back then that Kim and Fatters were full of shit... it was about the time they guaranteed that Rick had landed Lorenzo Booker.

I remember that day! I was doogin' it up big time. My Oregon buddy asked me why I was so excited because there was no evidence to suggest Booker would come here.

I guess I used to be a Doog.
