We love Petersen's potential because he did more with less... Snyder has been doing more with less since 1990 and doing it against Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas. In my mind Petersen is pretty similar to Snyder with better in-game coaching tactics (Snyder lost all his big games except for the early 2000s B12 champ game when they curbstomped OU).

get your shit straight cock_stroker. I never said how many wins I predicted Peter will get next year. I said a new head coach should get a 7-8 win expectation considering the number of returning starters, and a 5 year plan to get to a rose bowl like any coach should.

Puppy, your 5 years shit is really fucking stupid. Looking at the roster, next year is the year to compete for the North. I'm not on the win the North or bust train, but we should have a top 15 team next year, at minimum top 25. 2015 looks to be tougher, although you never know, things can change. After next year, we will lose 4 of 5 starters on the OL, Kasen, Shelton, Kikaha, Timu, and probably Peters.

Dnc, please educate me on why a coach doesn't need 5 years. There was a coach named Bruce snyder, you were den leader in the boy scouts then (at age 30). He had two teams in the top 10 back-to-back, and one a snap away from a national title. If not for a 5th year it wouldn't have happened. It's a tried and true formula. Obviously Sark failed because he's a shitty head coach. The principle is the same however. Dick Baird is a believer and he's a coach. You're a delivery driver for frito-lay.
