Look, Boss, while I'm Gen-X, I identify at Boomer. You know this about me.A debit card is cash. Has nothing to do with a credit score
There is also Zelle and venmo
Fucking boomers and their cash
My wife knows how the Venmo. I don't have an account.

I live in a dual income, matriarchy household. We're gonna have cleaning ladies. That just how things work. @MrsSnow ain't cleaning toilets.I don't travel a lot. I don't go to a barber (not bald, but I learned how to cut my own hair years ago). I don't have a cleaning lady (make your wife clean! youcanbeaman.gif). I don't buy weed.Come on you guys!! Not having a bit of cash is un-manly!
It's so annoying to be out with a group of pals getting some drinks and what not and the bar maiden comes over with bill and everyone starts getting out plastic and has no cash. Christ.
While we can live life mostly cashless, there are still so many ad hoc uses for it in my life.
ATBS, cash is great when traveling for all the reasons you cite.
You're missing out on all the Capital One Miles, bud.I carry cash. Not being tracked by soulless corporations who sell your data and a lying government is a great thing. TITTT. I use a debit or c.c. for gas and haircuts, and occasionally for other things.

I've saved quite a bit of sales tax on work done on my place by paying cash.
Fixing shit on your own is a great feeling. I wish I was more handy.I've saved quite a bit of sales tax on work done on my place by paying cash.
I've saved a lot more than that by being a poor that has to do it all myself.
Walking into Costco with ~900 in rewards to go buy a new grill or something similar >>>Why do you hate the Costco rewards card? You're missing out on all the Capital One Miles, bud.I carry cash. I was visiting family in New Jersey and forgot cash other than a couple singles. One of the restaurants I went to only had valet parking and the valets had Venmo pulled up their phones when they brought cars back.I use cash for the maids, a few places which give cash discounts, bar & travel tipping and occasional golf tipping. I have the Venmo of 95% of the golf and bar workers so use that more these days.

All that being said I typically pay with my phone.
