It looks like the coaches watched the USC Michigan tape and didn't think that Michigan's coaches would adjust at all.

One of my "keys to the game" as it were, as that Jedd needed to be innovative with the playcalling vs Michigan. And overall it was very uninspired.

Just because you use intellectual phrases like "as it were" doesn't make you smart regardless of how erudite and sublime your prose may suggest.
