For the non-NY6 bowls, it's just 90% about which team wants to be there more. Pete could play a team with superior talent (Texas) in the Alamo bowl...but if Texas doesn't want to be there and UW does, Pete will win.

I could see Washington losing to Kansas St., because they actually have an offense.

Iowa has a hard time scoring more than 10-13 points against any team with a pulse. Hard to imagine UW losing that game, but they did lose to Cal and Stanford, so...

More than likely though, UW finishes 9-4. Disappointing to most, but fixable.
