Hotel housekeeping gratuities: Do you leave them?

Fuck no. Should I tip the worker at the cash register at McDonald's too? Or the guy DUCK pumping the gas? Tips are bogus even in non-fast food restaurants, and I only give them begrudgingly. These businesses need to pay their workers a better wage and not expect the consumer to fork out extra money to compensate for the restaurant owner's illegal (yeah it should be illegal to pay a $2/hour wage) wage practices and blatant greed.
