Hopkins

Good! This is a football school anyway. In the 2000’s when we tried to focus on every sport, Football suffered. It’s was fun back in 2006 BRoy times, but now who cares, Sonics are almost back anyway.
 
I watch every game that isn't annoying to pirate or after midnight EST. I love this basketball program. I was in the student section for 0-12 and didn't grow up as a UW fan. I hit the exact student time window to be hooked on hoops. There are a handful of us. I want to see them back in the mix so badly.
 
Also look up Wilhelm Breidenbach. He's on our squad and is so funny to watch. jwszqmc2l939.jpg
 
I'm subbing my deboer hate today for Hopkins. He has willinghamed the basketball program. Program was once a number 1 seed in the fucking big dance and now no one gives 2 shits how terrible they are, or when they are even playing or who any of the players are on the roster.

Shout out Mike Jensen. My family had UW season tickets during the Romar years, it’s probably what saved my UW fandom growing up when Willingham and CO tried to kill it. Refuse to watch anymore UW bball until Hopkins is fired. I knew the program was cooked when he had two lottery picks on the roster and couldn’t even make the NCAA tournament, and that was like 4 fucking years ago.
 
Hopkins seemed very smug after his first year or two. Can't wait for that guy to be gone.
 
I think I gave up on Hopkins when Oregon came from behind to torch us four years ago. Some hot shot white guard hit about ten threes. That year didn't count anyway because colds are scary and shut down the world.
 
Lets be honest, UW has never been a hoops mainstay in the expanded tournament era. The only coach that routinely won during that period was fired. Hopkins has made 1 tournament with Romars guys. He probably makes a second if Quade Green or someone in the hoops program does his homework. Current roster has some good pieces but lacks a Bobby Jones / Justin Holiday type, guy who is versatile and will do the dirty work. To be clear its time to move past Hopkins. I wonder what the roster looks like next year with a departure. Unless Conroy is put in place, I imagine Diallo probably leaves, and Wesley Yates has yet to play at all this year due to injury. Can't imagine him sticking around if Quincy is let go.

That game was when Lake officially jumped the shark. He addressed the crowd at halftime and talked shit to Oregon. They came back and won, husky bball went from first to worst, March Madness was cancelled, yadda yadda yadda Jimmy punched Ruperake Fuavai and here we are.
 
I used to never miss a game, have hardly watched this year, but watched last night; They play some ugly ASS basketball. This has to be Hops last year, I could replace him and get better results.

ALSO what the fuck does Conroy do!
