The guys that tall and thin break in half in the NBA. Holmgren couldn't even guard LeBron at an exhibition without breaking his foot trying to run with him in the open court.
Before Holmgren was Porzyngas, also considered a unicorn before his knee broke in half.
This French kid is unlikely to hold up over the long run, IMO.

I think this kid is more a 7’4” Durant than Kristaps or Chet.

I think Giannis has shown the direction taller athletic players should go. Getting ripped as fuck allows your joints to sustain the beatings.
From what I've seen of Holmgren, him and this French kid have very similar game. Few took the ball out of Holmgren's hands more than it will be in the NBA. The kid can handle and shoot.
