Being Catholic, my personal opinion is that the majority are Conservative. Those who vote rat are 75% women.
Watched the entire series last night. As much as many of the allegations were legitimate and very troubling, about half of it appeared to be looking back on things with a lens of todays morality police. I agree Hollywood sells sex, but so many other realms of child comedy include sexual innuendo or adult themes. This was often done with respect to parents, who for years, would be watching the same shows as their children, on the TV that everyone watched. The Shrek movies are a prime example. The number of references lost on me from movies or tv I enjoyed as a kid, and now understand is mind blowing. Ultimately kids comedy tends to be excessively silly. One item brought up were foot jokes. Yeah the writer / producer might have a foot fetish, but feet have been used as comedic props for decades. A lot of it was geared towards Dan Schneider, definitely a douche, but after a while, a lot of it comes off as disgruntled former child actors and their parents, who were ultimately let go / not promoted to the levels they desired.
Not trying to slight you in any way but could you include a link to that poll? I would like to read it because that is not the life long experience I have had in the church so I am interested in seeing the details. The 7200 person sample size is intriguing because it is way more than most pay for desired results polling. It could very well be accurate.
