A last minute scratch for Washington meaning Bruener has to step in and fill the shoes of their best LB and communicator.

Bruener responds with 14 tackles and a pass deflection.

Fowler and Kirk can’t believe their eyes. side note fellas. Bruener is their best LB.

Kirk, Fowler and Holly can hit the skids. Especially Fowler. His call on the “penalty assisted TD” was complete trash.

A lot of laughed after Rowe tried to make it sound so ominous. We know Bruener is a whole dude out there. More worried about having the safeties out until I saw DJ U wasn't throwing hot fire.
 
DJ ukelele has never impressed me or scared me as an opposing QB. I get that he wanted to go someplace to be in a pro style offense, but the dude has never been a good passer and he’s too slow to scare you as a runner.

He’s serviceable and all, but not scary to play against.

That was Fowler at the end. I have to say, I have more respect for Herbie when they showed him giving his yellow lab treats in the booth.

What a dream gig that guy has.

He made a couple clutch passes but yeah, he sucks.

Every time he dropped back I felt like something good for UW was about to happen.

It also helps that his WR's are not talented.
 
Eddie didn't have his best game so it was my Doog dreams come true watching Bruener ball out.

Tuli got dinged last night and the D needs him 100% for the Championship game.

Do people think Drew Fowler is good enough to be in the two deeps next year or will the staff need to portal in a Soph or Jr?

A lot of butthurt homers in this thread. The broadcast was fine. Good even. Holly Rowe does nothing for me, but I'll take Fowler and Herbie over almost anyone. Wild to bitch about random one-off remarks when Rod Gilmore and Beth Mowens have jobs.
