Mid 2000s 3-piece Seattle band, drumless yet percussive, The Senate, put out one of my fave live albums (their only one) at the Solstice and I hit it often. I know the lead (Nick Drummond), he dated one of my classmates for years. It's a terrible shame these guys didn't stick around. Nick went solo for a bit, didn't work out, think they reunited for a show, fail. I always gotta share these guys though. Seen em several times and they blew my mind without fail. If you like this shit, you will love this shit
