Paying Lake $10m to not be our coach was a real bargain. Hell, they probably would've paid $20m

Aside from Ryan Day and Lincoln Riley (at Oklahoma), I can't think of many coaches recently who have walked into a better set up head coaching situation than Jimmy. All he had to do was make a few semi-competent hires and put a small bit of effort into recruiting. In both cases, he literally made the worst decisions humanly possible.
