Did a year of undergrad at this shithole, no greek-life due to a Baylor-esque rape scandal. The scandal also resulted in all professors being adjunct 24 year old they/thems because of settlements. Fuck Jimmy Lake forever

These are some photos my sister had of where my grandparents lived - not sure where she got them

We used to have an in exhaustible supply of Ponderosa, until we didn't.

Most of it has grown back though and they are starting to log again in spots.

The TUFF loggers lived in N. Idaho (still do).

As a wee lad can remember dodging the tug boats pulling log booms down from the St. Joe River, across Lake CDA and down the Spokane River for milling. Water skiing was for the brave as stray logs broken away from the boom was common place. Hitting one of those put a damper on a good slalom run.

Mid-80s, took a gal from Hayden to a movie and driving thru CDA, the sawmill was ablaze. Pretty spectacular fire. Sadly, no handy at the movie that night. CSB

So it was later in life you discovered the exploit-trauma-for-a-BJ connection.

Better late than never.

Ponderosa Pines are beautiful, love the bark. Great for itching a rashy nutsack too.
