I'm may have voted too much against AC DC in this first round for sativa @dflea to not want to fight me down by the river.

I voted against them a couple times myself. I'm not voting against a Bon Scott album, though. That would be stupid.

a Southern man don't need him around any how ... @dirtysouwfdawg

That's just not a potent rebuttal.

"Alabama, you've got a weight on your shoulder that's breaking your back. Your Cadillac has got a wheel in the ditch, and a wheel on the track"

Not exactly an evenly matched war of words.

People forget that Neil wrote Powderfinger for Skynyrd to record. He loved those guysm.

"My own song 'Alabama' richly deserved the shot Lynyrd Skynyrd gave me with their great record. I don't like my words when I listen to it. They are accusatory and condescending, not fully thought out, and too easy to misconstrue."

A Neil Young and Skynyrd tour would have been amazing.

I've linked this Drive By Truckers spoken word bit, but it's a great take on Neil Young, Bear Bryant and George Wallace.

After the fact retraction to keep peace. Neil was impulsive but pragmatic. There was nothing to be gained by a prolonged war of words with a popular schlock band.

I dont like my words when I read them. They are accusatory and condescending, not fully thought out, and too easy to misconstrue.
