"The Irish, however, now will wait for their bowl assignment, likely the Pop-Tarts Bowl in Orlando on Dec. 27."

lmfao

I think they should've been in over Alabama.
Alabama should not be in at all.
Actually agree with that.
I get analyzing the season but this "good vs. bad losses" shit is third tier criteria after basic stuff like head/head and season record when you have reasonably comparable schedules.
This "don't punish me for conference championship games bro" is something that is not immediately obvious to me as a persuasive argument, especially when you get your ass kicked. I'm sorry. Joey Galloway steadfastly and pedantically making this point about "teams that stay home should not jump teams that play [in a conf. champ game] doesn't make me go, "Ooooh yeah, right, that makes sense."
Bama is 9-3, Saban ain't there, and they should have not made the cut.
If you need to reserve a spot for them, then you gotta quit this G5 shit, which is the dumbest thing of all.
Now watch JMU go get greased and give Duck all they can handle.

If Bama had even been competitive in a loss yesterday I would've said keep them in as the 10. It's an extra game versus other schools, but it's one more chance to show your true colors and Bama got ass blasted. They're trading on their former reputation at this point.
I know Texas has the awful Florida loss, but Bama has the even worse loss to Florida State. Texas at least has 3 top-10 wins. I would've put Texas ahead of Alabama, too.

As much as it pains me, because I like Deboer and I hate Sark (I know, cognitive dissonance), that's the best argument. Texas has had a more impressive season.
Now watch Deboer go on some epic run and win it all after all this shit talk. Don't think he has the QB for it but who knows.
Right now, I'm having a hard time seeing anyone beat Indiana other than maybe a greased and pissed Buck, and even then, Cigaretti has his team in elite head space right now so Day will have to be someone else and there's no Chip Kelly, I don't think, to call the perfect game for them like last year.

Bama beat Georgia and Texas lost
Notre Dame has an argument but Texas doesn't
Sark got a three loss SEC team in the playoffs
Notre Dame didn't actually beat anyone and lost to ATM
But would probably beat Bama. Whatever join a conference

That’s one way to avoid the Fucked-up LA Bowl
it also hits them where it hurts. ND is a TV draw no matter where they play because of the subway fanbase.
and they don't really need the money.
Yep. This is about the schools that feel slighted telling the Networks to go fuck themselves.
Washington got a better deal than El Paso for recruiting, and they are playing somewhat of a brand, not Utah State or UNLV, so they were never going to complain.

FSU got ass blasted by Georgia after being snubbed. Nobody cared half the team sat out.
Why embarrass the name or put a stain on a good season when the players don't care about it?

and look how it eroded the culture. Norvel still hasn’t recovered and is on borrowed time at this point.

I’m over this quit culture, creating a bunch of bitches who don’t know how to overcome challenges and fold at any moment requiring resilience.

Play the fucking game, take out your anger on the opponent. Imagine the seniors who will never go pro. Robbing them of their bowl experience and their last game. Selfish.
