I thought you were smarter than everyone else because your superior analytics said there's no way our defense gives up over 17 points?

I don't think you crown Wilcox after this game, but I thought the defense played fairly well. Illinois completed 10 passes in 26 attempts and ran for 3.8 ypc. 24 points on 11 possessions is not terrible.

Illinois is a much better offensive team than defensive. If anything was disappointing today it was our offense, not the defense.

 
Our defense didn't look good at all. They dropped two TD's and dropped a crucial third down.

Plus their coach is a fucking idiot! He managed to outSark Sark in this game.

I'm not saying to fire Wilcox but hopefully this game puts away this silly notion he's head coach quality.

I'm not campaigning for Wilcox but I think he's a worthy candidate. One game doesn't prove anything one way or the other. And certainly not this game, this was a decent, not great, not terrible game.

I'd give them a B- for this game. Overall, LIFPO."

You don't hire a coach who's a B- on an regular basis. But posting a B- game in no way disqualifies someone from being an HC. Every coach has games worse than this.

Also when I say Wilcox isn't a head coach I'm talking right now for a big time school. Like if Pool Boy fired Sark or Sark left to the NFL(HA!) I'd be pissed off if they promoted Wilcox to HC.

I really don't want to go through this whole "he's learning on the job" bullshit again.
