Owned A.T. stuff for decades. Got a pair of basic A-T headphones from whatever JAFCO became in the 80's. BEST, I think it was?

Anyway, I was blown away by their sound and quality way back then, but melted that set when they fell off the stereo rack and onto the baseboard electric heater in my apartment at the time. (I fucking hate baseboard heating, btw.)

Replaced the first set with a similar set and have stuck with them ever since. Great quality, great sound, durable, and have become an industry standard for cans you carry from place to place.
 
I just bought new cushion kit for my Bose. Might be a cheaper route.
