Iowa is the blueprint for a Husky loss. It was a blowout on the road. Will be closer at home. Big physical defense and a power run game are kryptonite for Judd

4 losses, minimum. Indiana and Oregon are guaranteed losses. I could see them losing @Michigan State now that they have a competent head coach and will have had most of the season for that team to come together. We all know there will be one mind numbing road loss, too. USC (more talent and a road game), Iowa (tuff), and Nebraska (road game) are all toss-ups as of today. I assume that most road games are going to be painful to watch unless it's a team like Purdue. UW could get better as the season goes on, but I haven't seen that be the case so far under Fisch. UW looked the same against Oregon at the end of last season as they did against tOSU at the beginning of the year.

Every time I look at the schedule I come away thinking my realistic betting range is 5 wins to 10 wins and 5 seems more likely. It means that to have a needle moving season they have to win every single game other than their two against playoff caliber teams.
Dust fully settled on 2025 now I'm thinking as early as midway through 2026, we will look at 2025 as the missed opportunity where Jedd got a plum schedule and had some really nice veteran pieces like Boston, Willis, Prysock, Tacario (had he played) paired with a good DC/run defense (and paired with a cab that drinks like a merlot
. They should have been able to find a way to be closer against those Ohio State and Oregon teams, especially with how well they stopped the run but alas. Getting ran by Michigan the way they did was actually worse than the Wisconsin loss in my opinion.
2027 is now the year. They need to have their eye on an actual QB who can come in, but they'll probably lose half of their good young pieces anyway and then 2029 is the year.

I don't see much improvement on offense. At least, on paper. The OL should be better. The WR's are mostly unproven. RB's are unproven. TE's are unproven because I think DeGraaf sucks now. Also, not feeling very great about the DL. Maybe Fall camp sees some of the young guys emerging, but right now this team is a lot of "if so and so makes the leap."

I think we will be slightly better and Demond won’t play as bad as he did against Michigan, Wisconsin, and Oregon. He played terrible in all of those games and they were winnable with better QB play. I think he is good with high potential but those were really bad games.

You are acting like Bonner is some random 3* recruit. He’s not good until he’s good, but he was always going to play a lot, even if Mohammed came back. Washington has flashed and we’ll see how he can do. Both are explosive and can pop big runs. Limar is serviceable.
And you keep forgetting that the people calling the plays are the same. The talent with Muhammad was there the whole time he wasn't used effectively so yes I currently have the high ground in the we need to see it first argument
I read somewhere that Bonner in terms of modern recruiting bullshit stats is the highest rated rb out of high school in program history. And we throw the ball. So yeah I don't know if we get him without some kind of promises in terms of carries.
He wasn’t used effectively so there is no what if. Last year is done. On the whole, the run game was not very good. We can’t go back and give Mohammed more carries.
I think the committee this year and Jedd not playing favorites like last year because Coleman was pricey, his NFL stock, etc will result in our run game being better this year.
Bonner is highly regarded and will be promised carries so it's different than Coleman because he was highly regarded and promised carries
