They fired their dink and dunk OC for a reason. There's also a reason the Lions fired his ass. Rookie coach made a horrible hire. His offensive philosophy was roundly mocked considering the QB he was working with. I love how people were talking about how many balls JH had batted down. They obviously never watched any vid on Lombardi's behind the sticks route trees.

I'm old enough to remember when Peterson was great, before he wasn't. Then Jimmy took over and we all saw how horrible Peterson really was. Now we see DeB winning with Peterson's guys and his QB. I'm just waiting for the day when DeB is no longer a great coach because he's coaching a roster full of his own less talented guys.

Lanning looks like a promising young coach who could be very good to elite or he could be Sark to Lane.
WTF knows. Deboer had the better season. Lanning gave him that distinction by shitting the bed in the 4th q at home.
Win that game and avoid the Nix injury and Oregon blows OSU out the following week and we are having a different conversation. That said it doesn’t matter. Uw won and Oregon lost.
We’ll be able to really tell what we have at the end of next year, after each coach has to bring in a new QB and the entirety of their rosters/staff will be their recruits.
