i know... we can rationalize that Pete got screwed by USC and learned his lesson two years ago....

problem is, I think Pete only saw it as USC and thus he fought back against USC and won... then Bama fucked him last year and we maybe sort of broke even on it this year...I guess...maybe. Not sure.

reality is that (insert Gary Oldham's EVERYONE gif) is doing it to everyone and we are getting fucked by Oregon and Tennessee (LOL) this year. So Pete going to have 4 schools on his fuck you list next year and we'll get cucked by UCLA or Michigan or, most likely Notre Dame.

this is going to go on until all 135 teams have mowed our lawn.

Where we succeed[/b] - Getting recruits that are already bought into the "OKG" and "Built for Life" stuff, or want to play for Jimmy Lake or feel a kinship to Malloe.

Where we fail [/b]- Convincing/selling kids who are NOT predisposed to the "OKG" and "Built for Life" stuff, and are attracted to flashy trinkets and a wad of cash.

I can't blame the Toot Toot family for wanting their kid to go to the SEC. Once you've invested 18 years in feeding, driving, clothing, and whatever else it takes to raise a 4-star kid, you want to start getting some ROI as fast as possible.

It is my understanding that 3* kids do not get fed or clothes from their families.
