Middle of the road SEC program but a real nice college environment. Huge stadium. SEC passion and pageantry. Sluts in booty shorts and cowboy boots. Fun place to play if you don't care about making the playoffs.

Uhhh UT is the coldest SEC campus average temp rather easily other than maybe Mizzou. Not tons of booth shorts there.

I agree with the rest. I’ve had plenty of friends go there. They loved it. Still a weird choice for a Poly Cali kid who could play football anywhere.

Henry: “I’m in love with the idea of playing football, going to school, and spending my most formative years as a man at the University of Tennessee, based solely on the fact they employ this one guy at this one position who played at my high school before I was born.”

I love how they come up with these single reason connections that softens the media over just enough not to ask “um Henry? Uh, excuse me but, like, why the fuck would you go to Tennessee?”

We didn't stop recruiting him, but when he made it clear he wanted to stay closer to home for family reasons, we knew that he was staying in SEC territory, so there was no point in continuing the recruitment.

It's really sad. His parents are divorcing and he needs to go to Tennessee to be closer to them.
