Yea, these ones look like shit. The matte black and faded "purple" look like those clip art unis that people make for re-designs. These could've been decent if they just went with a chrome black (black version of the gold ones) with a gold W.
 
side note, not sure if these are the exact same helmet:

but in the background the purple on the matte black helmet looks a little more normal. Could just be the lighting that's fucking it up in the pic posted here.

Absolutely true.

I acquired the all-black Vans which are nothing more or less than a difficult to find canvas deck shoe in August, wore them to the BSU game and for every game since. They're really comfortable and cool and are now lost somewhere in the closet.

Nice helmet. Looks better than those glittering domes with the girly purple face masks. They look like fake plastic, something you might be able to find at Claire's or some other chick store. BTW they make Price look really goofy, it doesn't seem to fit very well on his head.
 
The helmets look like what a 14 yr old girl designed on her computer. Maybe for big plays and accomplishments, they can put little My Little Pony stickers on them. Better yet, just make pink uniforms and helmets. The best way to raise awareness about womem's cancer is to make football players wear pink, not run things on HSN and The Fake Housewives.

Why not pink stripes and "W" on flat black...... in honor of fighting breast cancer? I've always considered pink and black to be an attractive combination...... in lingerie (ladies' underwear) and late 1950's Dodge Darts. If we're going down on the ducks a 10th straight time, why not for a good cause.

I assume we all understand that should the miracle arrive in Husky Stadium on Saturday afternoon and the Huskies finally beat Oregon for once in our Dawgafterlife, whatever colors you and the team are wearing will become permanent replacements for Purple and Gold (the old Husky Gold apparently is gone forever).

I did throw my black Vans away after the loss to Stanford.
