Hello conspiracy theorists

I would lol if that happened. It would pretty much leave no defense for the nba isn't rigged crowd

David Stern will roll over in his grave if the top three in the draft order isn't Lakers, Celtics, and Knicks in some order.

Knicks don't have a first rounder

HTH.

This thread sucks without video

On the Rome clip get to 6:22 where it gets really good.

Just for fun, here’s your lifetime NBA Lottery Winner Scoreboard: Cavaliers (4); Clippers (3); Magic (3); Bucks (2); Bulls (2); Hornets (2); Nets (2); Spurs (2); Wizards (2); 76ers (1); Blazers (1); Kings (1); Knicks (1); Raptors (1); Rockets (1); Warriors (1).

But here’s the craziest and most fascinating NBA lottery fact ever in the history of crazy and fascinating lottery facts: Through 29 NBA lotteries dating back to 1985, only one franchise ever won the NBA title with its own no. 1 overall pick. The team? San Antonio with David Robinson (two titles) and Tim Duncan (four titles, two with Robinson). How is that possible?

I stole this from Bill Simmons that's pretty incredible that only the Spurs won a title with their #1 pick overall on their roster. None of those other teams have won it.

Perhaps winning the lottery isn't all that it's cracked up to be.

Which is exactly why losing Stringfellow doesn't doom this year's team to mediocrity.

That's a big logical stretch, even for this board.

I remember when San Antonio got that pick. It was such horseshit. The Admiral went down that year, and I'm sure they tanked the season on purpose, just like the Colts did a few years ago to get luck. If you look at San Antonio, They were a really good 55 win team the previous six or seven years, and since then they've won four or five titles.

Anyway I had another point somewhere... it was that a lot of those franchises that got the 1 are/were inept (Clippers, Bucks, Cavs - without LeBron they've been terrible since about 1992, Nets, WizardBullets, Sixers). There's a reason they stay bad or mediocre. The good teams take advantage of them.

You like to call him The Admiral.

He was actually a Lieutenant. True story.
