Stronger year than I’d expected. Bride/Vietnam/Weapon. Last emperor is what it is, well made, never care to see again.
I loved Untouchables back in the day, watched over & over as a kid. I saw it in the last five years, and did not feel like it holds up.
My real answer is The Princess Bride, but I had to cast a sentimental vote for this one.
In my youth I was an expat kid living in Shanghai so I massively over-identified with this movie, and I find that time period (1920s-1945) in APAC endlessly fascinating. And horrifying.

People forget WWII started in 1937. Am I right @CarlinHistoryBuff69 or am I right?

'37 was the Marco Polo bridge incident, '31 was the formal invasion and occupation of Manchuria though and the establishment of the Manchukuo regime. Shoutout to @Doog_de_Jour 's vote. I'm a massive Pacific Theater buff and will jump into the history board some day and roll the sleeves up.
