...had a class of WR and TEs this good?

This is a serious question. And I mean on paper...not what they did later...weren't RW and CF in the same class way back when? Was there a solid 3rd WR, and did we get any good TEs that year? I would think that is the only other class in memory that could compete. ISIS Fluffer putting in work.

Ross, Daniels, and String were ranked higher than Ty, Cook, and Bynum but I don't know if we had a TE in that class

I think Eddie Jackson, a transfer, was in the class with Reggie Williams. He played one season without doing much then quit.

None of the three new WR have RW-like potential, but they all have good to great size, solid speed, and already look well coached, skilled and ready to play. Bryant is a physical and athletic freak of nature somewhat like Daniels, but with WAY better hands and ball skills. Otton has size, hands and ball skills.

I think this group will rank ahead of the RW/ET class pretty comfortably and way ahead of Ross/String/Daniels. The fact that there are 5 high level prospects who were recruited and will be coached by this staff as opposed to RN/Sark staffs should seal it rather easily, say 34-17.

Best WR class since Chambers, Whithorne, @SonnyShackelford, Willams, Daniels, Smith and whoever the other one or two were.

And Cody Ellis and Anthony Russo.

Shackleford and Russo both had respectable careers. Shackleford could have played a role on the current team.

Yep hard to beat that class.

What about 2011?

Kasen Williams, ASJ, Joshua Perkins, Jamaal Jones (transferred from UW b/c Sark hated him and became Montana's all-time leading receiver), and board legend Marvin Hall

Why are you listing a QB with the WRs?

I know the 1991 recruiting class had both Mark Bruener and Ernie Conwell, but I don't remember any receivers from that class.

There was a time when we were known as Tight End U.

RW > all of that soft dreck.

1992.

The Wonder Twins.

Reggie Williams is forgotten in the dreck of Husky Football in that bygone era but he could win a game by himself and did once or twice
