The overwhelmed hospital thing is nonsense. This current spike is no bigger than any of the previous ones, which never had close to real capacity issues. And simply counting a hospitalized case as binary says nothing to the resources being consumed.

If there are capacity and resource issues, why isn’t the president opening up field hospitals or sending the navy ships?

Staffing is the biggest issue, not space or beds. Those issues exist, but are far from a crisis.

Yet we're about to lose hundreds or thousands of unvaccinated staff due to mandates, as our former healthcare heroes suddenly become lepers.

A close friend lost two people in their extended 70's with comorbidities. Hospital refused to treat with Vitamin C drip and Ivermectin based on internal protocol. Both died alone. Would not allow spouse visitation. The hospital did honor one request of the family and that was not to treat with Remdesivir which kills people. Fauci of course pushes Remdesivir.
