Hardcore Husky Podcast: The Jimmie Dougherty Emergency Podcast

I'm excited about the team this year because of the OL. If Jedd decides to air out anyways then he'll never do anything anywhere.

You saw 4 of our OL guys celebrating the hockey game today. Water under the bridge with the older Hatchett brother. Not to spam the thread but regarding Jonah, the offense should be a lot better when the other team doesn't 100% know who it's going to.

No clue about he dline stuff but at least we kept our good DC. The thing about what conferences we're pulling from, the MW conference winner last year got absolutely bodied by our defense to the point where you doubt the talent in that conference last year. Runner up UNLV had nothing, they were all the coach (who I predicted would be good there). I don't love taking players from Sac State but at least they have been a good program recently so maybe they did/do have some guys to take.

I only have doog hope about Demond, and that hope is that him and Jedd realized that using him like a drop back passer almost exclusively was fs last year. You have to scheme guys open for him.
The Mountain West thing is a good point I forgot I wanted to get into more. I'm not wasting time like Flatus doing research but I do feel like I look at Mountain West stats in recent years and watch some games and am underwhelmed by the best players. I wonder if it has to do with more out of regions recruiting out west. A lot of the guys who used to end up at Mountain West programs now go to out of region programs/Pac-12 level programs have to dip lower into the talent pool for guys who would have traditionally gone MWC because the better guys now go random places.

I think Judd thought Jonah was a team leader at UA and his move would be the one that sprung the others. Should have encouraged him to the NFL after 2024, which you can do easily by your $ offer.

I think Manu is actually a team leader type…a true psycho who just wants to get out there and crush people.

If he's truly a team leader then he should've played the Quacks instead of opting to play in front of his family vs a weak opponent. I love Manu's game, but that decision really irked me.

Good point. I’m trying to remember if they still thought he might get more games at that point.🤔

Coleman is the same "college quality" as Monangai, I say Coleman goes in the 7th round. He's currently ranked the 78th overall player on https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/ right now.
Boston seems like he'll go in the 20s in the first round.
This RB draft class looks weak. The Seahawks might have to sign a few vets to replace K9 and Charbonnet for 15 games.

Is it a done deal that K9 isn't coming back?
