The boys get together to talk Husky football, speculate on Jake Locker paths-not-taken, create a Mount Rushmore of Seinfeld side characters, and debate whether Brock Bowers would make a good name for a porn star.

Best limp dick season besides 2022?

Probably 2013. Stadium debut. Close loss to the eventual conference champions on the road. Kick BYU's ass with Tui to end it. It's a joke on here but the Oregon State game was a bigger ass kicking, in person, than the 2016 Oregon game. Was really close to being a good season. Obviously ASU, Oregon games were infuriating.

Apple Cup way too close but it's Sark.

2013 a good call. The Stanford game was at least fun and not being able to stop Ty Montgomery with what he did in the NFL was a time when the Huskies made a guy a superhero and I guess it wasn't just some shitty JAG. The Oregon game was close than the final score and thanks Pac-12 for scheduling Stanford and Oregon back-to-back. They shot their wad in those two games then had to go to Tempe for a 3pm kickoff (again, wtf Pac-12?).

Nice fun run to end the season. All the wins against mediocre teams were at least blowouts or double digits.

Got rid of Sark and brought in Petersen.

We talked about this season before we hit record. Good call on it. 60-70% of it was a fun ride

Jake played the game vs Stanford in 07

But Bonnell led the Huskies to a big victory at Husky stadium a couple weeks later!

Also, 2007 should have been one of those seasons where Washington didn't win anything of consequence but it was a fun season.

Jake as a freshman was electric and gave hope for the future
The offense was actually pretty good most of the time and fun to watch
Expectations were low
Started the season blasting Syracuse on the road, handling a ranked Boise State team, then leading Ohio State at the half
Competitive against Top 10 teams at Home in USC and Oregon (Oregon game was really fun for three quarters)
Should have had a big win ending Hawaii's season of destiny
Dont' choke against Arizona, The Coug, and Hawaii 7-6 4-5
and get a chance to close with a win over a ranked BYU team in Vegas
But Willingham sucked so fuck it

Interesting, I have zero memory of this game at all, which is odd because it was a pretty big win for them.

I remember speaking on the phone with Hugh Millen soon after and he and I both confided that it was the first time in our lives we had rooted for the opposing team to win.

They went 8-4 and lost to Utah in the Freedom Bowl.

They were undefeated and ranked #6 in the nation, before losing at home to Colorado State

You don’t want to play the Rams early… you just don’t
