Derek, Joey and WoolleyDoog enjoy the big win over USC. Of course, there were a couple of regressions where we complained about the refs and discussed the woes on defense. But a fairly upbeat podcast where we enjoy the 9-0 Dawgs. Admittedly, we failed to mention Dillon Johnson and his 256 yards rushing until late in the show, for which we apologized. We also answer a bunch of listener questions. The show opens with A.I. Norm MacDonald reading a graphic post from PurpleJ and then expressing his disappointment over said post.

One thing is clear. No one except UW is happy about how the seasons has turned out so far.

P12N would have preferred SC to have this season, even as the real killers of the conference.

The year has also been a nice reminder of some of the things we shouldn't be sad about leaving behind with the Pac-12.

-Terrible officiating
-Having to play in the desert and always having it be weird
-ASU is krpytonite
-Stanford always tuff
-Beat Oregon on the field and somehow the media and their fans turn it into a loss within a week (wish we were leaving them behind)
-zero margin for error because the nation thinks the Pac-12 sucks
-Stupid championship game format means they'll have to play rival twice for a second bloodbath

It's the culmination of Wilner, Canzano, Nick Alliotti and all these other losers and their stupid af subtle cheerleading for the N Cali and Oregon teams.

Plus lovable Mountain West fucking Utah, because they're so thankful for being in the conference.

Yeah let's hemorrhage money to this shitty conference's wokework *and* have everyone they employ besides 2 people actively cheer against us.

SC was right to axe this garbage.

I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t see Penix winning the Heisman.

While I’m also on record of being in the “just win baby” camp, I don’t fault anyone in the slightest for being upset about UW not getting more favorable press.

Unfortunately these media biases run deep, and we? didn’t help matters by acting like a beta bitch for so many years. So I’m not surprised.

It’s going to take multiple years of being a top 10 program before we’re given the respect we deserve.

Penix is not winning the Heisman unless Michigan falls apart. Even yesterday he was good but not crazy spectacular.

He is currently the favorite, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility.

Again, I’d love to be wrong, but it would not shock me if they still gave it to the FSU QB or even the WR from Ohio State.

If they get there with the balanced offense from yesterday, I don't think he would have the gaudy stats that other guys will have. You don't win the Heisman in September or October.

He’s the No. 1 passer in the country. You think UW is gonna pass/run for 200/200 each game the rest of the way? I don’t. They won’t be able to run on anyone like they did against USC. But even if they do, his numbers are going to look great if UW goes undefeated.
