First game of the season where it looked like Jutt's 2023 team. Taking shots and making plays in all phases to the point where the two worst calls I've seen in years didn't matter.
Nothing about Illinois is top 25 except the QB.
Washington doesn't deserve to be ranked, because we scored 13 points combined against Ohio State and Michigan.
Curious where these additional UCLA rumors are coming from? UCLA isn't SC where SC just shamelessly tries to steal our people.
 
Wisconsin is here to play school, even going back to Gary Andersen, and Fickell not embarrassing them in Eugene cemented that he's staying for at least another season.
Any loss up until the Oregon game is unacceptable and both Jutt and his paid media guy Butt both know that.

The Judd to UCLA stuff I was ignoring until Caple on his podcast pointed out the Wasserman thing that the owner of Judd's agency is the #1 UCLA booster. Jedd seems to really rely on his agency for a lot of stuff, possibly even talent acquisition now, so I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a lot of direction from them. Throw in thinking his wife and kids would rather live in LA than Seattle and I have some worry.
Blowing things up again after just two years to rebuild a program that hasn't done anything in 25 years and is second banana in a market that is hard to succeed in now makes no sense though.

Okay, I had already read that before the caple thing.
Your last sentence kind of spells it out: with NIL in full swing uprooting staffs and rosters is pretty hard going from P4 → P4.
It'll end up being Eck or Smith pulls the rip cord from MSU.
 
It's pretty simple and sensical to me even with how flighty Judd is to get to 10/2 or 9/3 here this year, probably get an extension with a buyout which sets you up for life even if the wheels come off. See what you can do with Demond and co and the schedule in 2026-27 and see if you can spin it into an NFL job, or like one of the college jobs like Bama with DeBoer where you're coming into a humming system, not rebuilding shit that hasn't worked for decades like UCLA or Florida or Penn State (kind of).

Jedediah is a schemer. But there's not just one script.
He'll get his 7 pounds of UW flesh one way or another.
 
Or Washington can act like the big program they are and if they want Jedd then keep him. Stop surrendering before the battle starts
For now let's see if they want him. UW wasn't sure about DeBoer so no guarantees on how they handle this

If we? decide to extend Fisch's contract, could we? put in a "no mustard hoodie" clause?

Wears the mustard hoodie in pouring down rain during the Oregon game just to troll the fans.
 
I am honestly lost about the mustard hoodie. It's actually tan, which I think now is an official Husky color.
I really don't mind it. The visor on a rainy day is a little more curious. You're losing your hair Jedd. Protect the scalp from the rain with a man's hat. Trying to look like Kiffin or Spurrier isn't working and you're not golfing.
