UW is also the forever Pac-12 champs, beating the Fighting Phil Knights in the 2023 championship game.
 
not gonna lie, having rivalry week be a real game rather than slap fight with your little brother is a definite upgrade

I was at that Oregon State beat down in 2013 and I'll keep saying it because to this day it was crazy. There were a few play action passes in the first quarter, but UW scored over 60 points running it up the middle with ~3 backs.
This was when Beavlet still had Riley and was mostly a .500 or better team, beat UW the last game they were at Reser, etc.
Beavlet fans were absolutely raging. My inlaws made us all leave after the 3rd quarter, and still had to listen to Mike Parker say stuff like, "I mean, Sark's just running the same play up the middle with his 3rd string back"
Cool story. This season reminds me of that season and yes, this game was similar.

Deontae Cooper went off that game IIRC... As the third string back probably behind Sankey and Jesse Callier. Not a dry eye in the house

Defense has been exciting. The highest payed DCs are making about 2.5 mil and UW needs to pay him at least 2 in the next couple weeks.
