IT'S THE AIRING OF GRIEVANCES... It's a Christmas Eve pod for our pods. The first ten minutes is a lot of Inside Baseball, with shout outs and grievances directed toward posters at HardcoreHusky.com. (Outsiders may not know what the hell we're talking about). But then we settle into a lively conversation about bowl game memories and playing video game football. Merry Christmas to our pods!

I am not going to lie. That was worth it. It felt good to hear it. I am the BEST minority in this shithole. @MontlakeBridgeTroll is the worst thing ever. And I do love @Doog_de_Jour . If I can't be the champ, at least I can stalk her.

I really appreciate the thoughtful discussion on how technology has not only hurt the football game day experience, but many of our IRL experiences. Life shouldn’t be seen solely through the lens of a cellphone screen. And you’re right @Doogles, I rarely go back and look at half the pictures, so I stopped taking them for the most part.

Hell, there is a company called Yondr that is essentially a coat-check for phones at concerts/schools because many can’t be trusted to turn them off and put them in their pocket:

It’s really sad, but I don’t see this going away, and it will probably get worse. I know that during the quarantine/WFH I’ve developed more a bit of an internet addiction. It used to be I could unplug without a care, but now I hate not having my phone nearby.

I'll be in the Duchess bathroom the whole month of July. I think shit will be back to normal by then.
