It's a little surprising, though it shouldn't be, that you didn't know many relief organizations have a religious affiliation.
And I've bashed many alleged "Christians". Christianity itself? No. I don't believe in the supernatural myself, but most of the world does and I long ago accepted that. If more Christians actually knew anything about their professed religion and they actually adhered to its tenets instead of the rantings of teevee preachers, that would almost certainly be a better thing. I don't spend a lot of time worrying about whether people who are actually remedying poverty, disease, or disaster are motivated to do those things by beliefs about God and Jesus that I don't hold.

Actually people are pretty tribal and don't really look at humanity, they look at their tribe or community, maybe as far as their country. USAID is a CIA/dem party grift. The "aid" is used to overthrow governments and provide billions for the dem party and hanger oners. We weren't discussing churches. We were discussing relief work by people who happen to go to church, though. Daddy got a lot of their votes, which was the point of the thread.
