Yea it makes 0 fucking sense. Cool you just beat a shitty Green Bay team that was injured and in conditions that favor your style of football on a game winning field goal. Can't wait until Carolina beats them.

At home too. 49ers are still a very good team but when they win people completely disregard their entire body of work. It is like certain games never happened.

In their defense, their offense is considerably better with Crabtree.

That said, they had Crabtree when they visited Seattle last December. I'd rather not play them, but I'm not overly concerned. Seattle is just a terrible matchup for SF.

 
It took a game winning drive by them to beat us in Candlestick. A game where they were motivated like crazy after the initial ass blasting earlier this season, they marketed the game to the fans like crazy so they could be the loudest they ever were.

Of course it's better but nine points is nine points, I understand the hawk offense isn't much better if not worse but I'm not going to ever say the hawks will outscore someone, if sf wins that game which I'm leaning towards picking them it'll be with defense not offense.
Cam is also considerably better since that game as well
 
SF opened up as favorites, you don't think Cam won't have a chip on his shoulder? That is one player who you don't want to give extra motivation to.

Body of work means jack shit when it comes to playoff football. I think that the article is ESPNFS, but so is citing regular season results to argue the other way. We're talkin about playoffs here? Playoffs??! Brand new season.
