Same here, but it's definitely a long shot, especially with Woody "running the show". Gruden makes $4+ a year doing MNF for ESPN. That is a cushy job. He can live in his house on a golf course in Tampa Bay and make a weekly trip to the game. Why would he want to ruin that by parking his ass in Seattle for $5 million / year? Woody would have to throw 6 or 7 million his way to get his interest.
 
I don't know if this is a serious thread but Gruden has been linked to every single open head coach position in the NFL or major college program the last 3 years. He says he is happy with his situation right now.
When (if) he decides to come back, it won't be for a program like Washington.

Much as we like to think otherwise, Washington doesn't have that cache. This feels like back when royotis was talking about Steve Spurrier.

Some names just don't line up with the University of Washington. Gruden is one of them.
