Grubbhub: Yes or No?

From ESPN:

What should Washington prioritize in its coaching search?[/i][/b]

For UW, it's simple: Ryan Grubb should be elevated from offensive coordinator to head coach immediately. If you are reading this and new UW athletic director Troy Dannen hasn't already hired Grubb to replace DeBoer, he's moving too slowly.

DeBoer deserves all the credit he's received for what he's accomplished in coaching, but Grubb has been with him nearly every step of the way (Sioux Falls, Eastern Michigan, Fresno State and UW). When Washington players talk about the offense and why it has been so successful, Grubb is the one they describe as the "mad genius" or with some other kind of similarly flattering name.

He was the playcaller, he was the one who worked most closely with QB Michael Penix Jr. and he should be options A, B and C to replace DeBoer. This isn't the same as Jimmy Lake inheriting the program from Chris Petersen. Grubb is ready. Building a staff will be a challenge because DeBoer and Grubb will inevitably want to lean on some of the same guys, but there will be a line of talented coaches who want to be in Seattle. -- Kyle Bonagura[/i]

FWIW (or not), the writer is a Cuog who hates UW

The fact that he wasn't immediately announced as the new hire is encouraging. Keeping Grubb would be the most limpdick move they can make.

Only Coach I’d be interested in retaining from KDBs shit staff is Shepherd which means that he already he signed his raise with Bama

Im interested to see who DB takes with him. I don’t feel strongly about retaining anyone but it will be very telling if he bails on the guys that have been with him through the years like Morrell.

Jimmy Lake was always a fucking retard.

Grubb could be different. He could be great (like Deboer). His ceiling is extremely high. he also could shit the bed but I'd take the risk over a mediocre hire like Fisch. Look what Deboer did as an OC and HC, success everywhere. Who's to say Grubb isn't deboer 2.0?

He’s definitely bailing on Morrell. He’s about to be on his own in a shark tank. He’s fucked, he just doesn’t know it yet.

Grubb has a great offensive mind, but I have no idea on his ability to head an entire program. Feels Helfrich-esque, although Grubb at least appeared to be more hands-on here. Still, unless hes like Sark squatting on the sidelines in every TV shot, he will have a different set of responsibilities.

If Bama has any fucking sense they told DeBoer to hire a real DC and position coaches.

When has this ever worked well? Shaw? And that only worked so well because Harbaugh left the cupboards incredibly well stocked and they had an easy script to just recruit any kid who remotely cared about academis to come to Palo Alto. KD left nothing.

Why is Fisch mediocre? He took a team that was worse than UW under Lake and made them a Top 10 team in a few years.

and you actually think they are not going to make a limpdick hire?
