I think it’s much more likely he did it for that reason as opposed to him not knowing how many home games they played
 
How hard does Oregon come after him now that "Dilly" (they actually call him that) is headed to ASU?

Whatever it takes to keep Grubb around, UW needs to pay it.

He's earned his money, but Grubb is a Deboer guy and it's still Deboer's offense. Grubb sucked without him.

This. Grubb is an extension of DeBoer. The Fresno offense run by Grubb under Tedford was abysmal.
