Grubb castigated at Alabama

Grubb isn't that great. A lot of great quotes for dooging in 2022 though.

A lot more has changed with the Seahawks than just Grubb. Firing him was absolutely the right move, but there is a new QB and the defense is better this year.

I wouldn’t care about this if I were an Alabama fan. It’s not irrelevant, but it’s pretty close.

All true, but they lose to the Rams without Kubiak and Darnold.

Did you not see the huge difference in the running game and the percentage of runs?

I don't have the data handy but from what I've seen, Grubb has run the ball even less at Alabama than he did as UW's OC. It seems like he is tripling down and not course-correcting usually doesn't end well.

Boer fired the coach and last year's O line and brought in a new one. He admitted that they sucked

Yes, they play much more complementary football this season. ATBS, I think the pass and run game are somewhat dependent on each other to really succeed. Nobody was respecting Geno last year and teams were happy to let him throw Seattle into losses.
