Well at least not tonight. About half way through the 3rd quarter and they haven't even gotten to 50 points yet.

As much as I love Thibbs, I think it's safe to say he is a mediocre offensive coach at best. This team really has no excuse to be so poor at scoring with their current roster.
 
If there's one big criticism that I have with the Bulls roster, it's that they can get very stationary offensively and have a lack of creative force on the roster. Lots of guys that are great spot up shooters, post players, etc. but nobody really that is great at the drive and dish game to set those guys up. Definitely saw that play out in the last 3 quarters tonight because they really struggled to create easy shots. When they did, flat out they didn't make them.

Lots of great spot up guys and lots of great post players? Who are you talking about? Dunleavy and Butler are good spot up guys. Everyone else sucks. Pau is alright in the post but everyone else sucks.
 
Thibbs is a bad head coach. He never had a good offense. The next Bulls coach will get the offense rolling.

I think Mirotic is a 20 point scorer in the next few years. He was comically misused. When he got extended PT in March he averaged 20 for the month.

Blame the salary cap and max contracts.

As long as there are max deals, whatever team LeBron plays for will have an advantage because they are getting a $50M player for $20M, basically getting $30M in extra cap space. They can afford to have their number 2 and number 3 scorer go down, and still win.

I don't know if Curry or Durant or whomever is the second best player, but I do not remember the gap between Jordan and another Dream Teamer being as significant as the current gap between James and the second best player.

BronBron and a bunch of dudes may not always be the best team like they are this year, but they will always be good enough to get to the finals.

You're being silly. College basketball is broken because of the rules. 35 second shot clock, zone defense and no defensive fouls- only charges.

The Cavs aren't benefiting from the rules. They're just playing great defense. They solved Golden State. GS adjusted in that second half with David Lee and solved that defense. Now Cleveland has to figure that out. This is high level basketball. Not that rink a dink college bullshit.
