Only players and assistant coaches truly know his methods. Not only are Petersen's practices closed to the media, his entire program is limited access where the media is tightly managed especially with regard to player and assistant coach interviews. This coupled with his winning percentage has provided Pete with a mostly cooperative and friendly local media. This of course is not Seattle nor, God forbid, L.A. Scandal and controversy related to BSU's football program just doesn't sell where Broncomania dwells. It will interesting to see how coach Petersen's PR methods play in Seattle.
