Djokovic is unreal. I used to hate him because he robbed us of more Federer-Nadal finals when he was younger, but I’ve come to appreciate how fucking good he is. He also didn’t bow to covid bullshit, so I respect him a lot for that.
The fact Djokovic would have won the '22 Aussie open (ILTCIDIWILTD) if not for their Covid crap and the '22 US Open due to our Covid crap, plus the '20 USO if he had simply managed to not smack a ball at the ball kid makes his greatness possibly underappreciated.
He's taken a step or 2 back right now and I'm not sure he gets it back, Alcaraz and Sinner are probably too far ahead and it took every ounce of Novak sorcery to win the Gold in Paris last year. He might make the final like the last 2 years at Wimby, but I don't see him taking out Sinner and Alcaraz back to back these days. Sinner being banged up gives him a shot at the final at least.
