I just remember in the late 90's this was on TRL for like months.
Remember reading interview with the guy and he said he had a prior album that he felt was better but was squashed in a contract dispute.

Closing Time is too obvious to me ... to the point that I've just never thought of it as a 1-hit wonder
To me a 1-hit wonder has to really include some elements to it of in real time really questioning how the song became as big as it did ... there has to be that knowledge in the time that they can't possibly do more. 4 Non Blondes is the definition of a 1-hit wonder to me
